This Privacy Policy explains how Nightfall Presents LLC ("Nightfall Presents," "we," "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit nightfallpresents.com, sign up for our text messages or email updates, contact us, or attend our events.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, mobile phone number and anything you include when you sign up for updates, submit a contact form, submit music as an artist, or contact us about a partnership.
- Text message signups: your mobile number, the date and time you opted in, the page you signed up on and the consent language you agreed to.
- Ticket purchases: tickets are sold through Posh. Posh collects and processes your payment information under its own privacy policy. We receive order details such as your name, email and ticket type so we can manage entry and contact you about the event.
- Automatic information: basic device and usage data such as browser type, pages visited and referring site. If you accept analytics cookies, this is collected through Google Analytics.
How we use information
- To send event announcements, presales, ticket alerts and other updates you asked for.
- To respond to messages, artist submissions and partnership inquiries.
- To manage events, entry, guest lists and customer service.
- To operate, secure and improve our website.
- To meet legal obligations.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you opt in to text messages from Nightfall Presents, you will receive recurring messages about event announcements, presales and ticket alerts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
We do not share, sell, rent or trade mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. All of the information-sharing categories in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers who help us deliver our messages (such as our messaging platform), who may only use it to provide that service.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With service providers that help us run our business, such as ticketing (Posh), messaging and email platforms, website hosting and analytics, who process it on our behalf;
- With venues or event partners when needed to run an event you are attending, for example for entry or safety;
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our guests, staff, artists or others;
- In connection with a merger, sale or transfer of our business.
Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared for marketing purposes, as described above.
Cookies
We use a small amount of browser storage to keep the site working, for example to remember that you closed the signup popup. With your permission, we also use Google Analytics cookies to understand which pages and events people visit. Analytics cookies are only set if you click Accept in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
Your choices
- Texts: reply STOP to any message to opt out.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Access or deletion: email us at jake@nightfallpresents.com to request a copy of your information or ask us to delete it.
Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, including records of SMS consent. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our website and messages are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Our events have their own age requirements listed on each event page.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
